May Gibbs' Gumnut Babies
May Gibbs is one of Australias most treasured illustrators and childrens book authors. Her marvellous creation - the Gumnut world, with its tiny heroes and heroines and deliciously villainous villains - has fascinated generations of Australians since Gumnut Babies was published in 1916.
